Jen's view day 2 Paris

Hi everyone

It is so nice to be back here in Paris.
Yesterday we visited l'Orangerie -to see the works of Monet and other famous painters and also the Musee D'Orsay for more culture.

We also visited Monte Marte watching the artists paint - I could have sat there all day to watch them. Wow some people are gifted. The place was alive with a constant stream of people.

We sat in cafe's drinking hot chocolate, watching the world go by. So enjoyable. We have been accosted by gypsy's often but Bob has a theory to warn them off by taking their photo. They do not like that. Works well.

I am practicing my french and believe it or not I am being understood. That is pretty exciting for me although I am far from competent but enjoying the challenge.

The bread and pastries here are to die for and we probably will with the amount we are eating. We walk all day and half the night, so hopefully we will still fit on the plane for the journey home.

I think the highllight of the trip so far was the Four Seasons concert we attended last night. That was a WOW factor - thank you Tertia & Nattie for your thoughtful wedding gift. I wish you could have been here to share it.

Today we will wander the streets again, having no time frame, no destination, nothing to do but just enjoy. What a way to go.

Miss you all very much. Wish you were here to enjoy this experience.

Lots of love from us.
