Adventures in Como

Just before we left Venice we wandered the streets for an hour or so and Bob found his lolly shop - below.  Chillies galore.  I must admint, they did look nice

 How is this for a collection of cheeses - the Italians are rather passionate about it. Off to the train.

 We had a great trip and here we are in Lake Como. We have a room overlooking the lake and this small balcony is just enough room for 2 people.

 There are very palacial places dotted all over the lake, this is just one example

Again, lovely places

 The hillsides are full of places with magnificent views - all of them

 The weather was a little inclement and a dark cloud hovered over the hillside

 The mountains are gorgeous and this view is taken from in front of a 14th century church in Torno

 You can see the clouds setting in - well - the story continues
