Fun in the snow...

We woke to a beautiful sunny day and snow covered world... an amazing change from the day and night before....

We had to carve a message to you all from our balcony snow....

The view from our balcony was so stunning we could have stayed in our hotel all day but .... time to get back on the cable car to the top of the mountain...

The walk to the cable car is about 15 minutes through the village... beautiful...

Wow....

Here we are on the top of the mountain ... 1km above the village ... Jen seems to enjoy the snow ?????!!!!

She was keen to see what was around the bend... bye Jen .....

Oh... more snowballs coming my way ......

We stopped to admire the view of the lake... partially frozen... just like us !

A nice passer by took our pic... there are worse places to enjoy...

Jen's heading back to the warmth of the restaurant at the top of the cable car... wait for me !!!

It was quite a walk in the deep snow and high altitude....

So we stopped to make a snow man... no face !!!

Jen felt sorry for "frosty" so had to improvise ... looks like a new fashion in moustaches...

The scenery was too amazing to believe...

Time for another rest... oh yes... snow angel time !!

And how angelic we are !!

Lots of people stopped to admire "frosty" and continued to build him up a bit... seems everyone likes a snowman....

When you get tired ... just lie down !!

 The view from the restaurant back down to the village was amazing with the Matterhorn showing on the other side of the valley.

Wow...

 We sat outside ... it was warm in the sun...

I had a gluwein ... hot mulled wine ... yum yum yum...

More mountains....

Cable car back and heading to lunch ....

 Lunch... the before shot.... oh yes and more mountains...

 All that mountain climbing made us just a little peckish....

So we had to have a little sorbet to keep us alive until dinner....

Ok ... back to the hotel for a snooze before dinner....
