Snow snow snow

We walked through misty rain to a restaurant last night that specialises in Raclette... one of my favourite meals... you can see the Raclette machine behind Jen where our helpful Raclette man melted half cheeses and then scraped the cheese onto our plates... time and time again.

It was "all you can eat" ... he didn't realise that we have had a lot of eating practice lately.  The basket on the table is filled to the brim with wonderful small boiled potatoes ...and there were other nibbles such as cornichons, pickled onions and something they called onion salad that tasted like very nice sour crout... yum.

We did need a few more potatoes when the basket was empty and another bowl of cornichons... other than that we were very reserved....!!

We waddled out of the restaurant to SNOW ... and walked back to our hotel through the snow.  Yes, Jen went crazy ... eating snow as she walked etc... the usual things ...

It snowed half the night.... this morning we awoke to a white world and blue sky... the view from the balcony of our room !

Today we will probably go up the cable car again and also try out those heated swimming pools...

But first it must be time for breakfast....
